The Story of Oneberri
Ever wonder where the name Oneberri came from?It started with a single, deep-purple fruit: the Jamun. Growing up, I ate them straight from the freezer, and loved it. Years later, while living abroad, it was the taste I missed the most, and that nostalgia eventually sparked a vision.Oneberri reflects the idea of building an entire creative lifestyle from one incredible berry. It is a return to the physical world — to wellness, music, and working with my hands instead of just a screen.Part 1: A Legacy Planted in San Diego
The roots of Oneberri go back to the late 1990s. Realizing Jamun was virtually impossible to find in the United States, my father brought seeds from India to San Diego.Farming a rare tropical fruit in Southern California wasn't easy; it took patience and several failed attempts before a few trees finally took hold. Today, nearly 100 organic Jamun trees thrive across our family property, grown from those original mother seeds.

Part 2: Completing the Circle
I’ve spent years traveling, teaching, designing, and coding. But after a lifetime of exploring the world and working in the digital space, Oneberri represents completing one circle and beginning another. It’s a shift toward a livelihood rooted in the earth rather than abstracted from it. It’s a way to support my family and sustain a simpler, more intentional way of living.Part 3: The Creative Ecosystem
At its core, Oneberri is built from the backyard orchard, but the harvest is just the beginning. We are weaving together a line of nourishing, healthy Jamun products with the vibrant, creative life that surrounds them. Oneberri sits at the intersection of natural wellness, music circles, film, and community. It is an ecosystem where work, art, and life aren't separate tasks, but part of the same ongoing rhythm.
